In the lineage of dark and fantastical fairy tales, Dearie conjures the origins, journeys, and telemetries of flowers. Shot off a Rolleiflex viewfinder, the film takes the shape of a portrait—the image centered like a photo in a locket. Recordings of radio emissions from the rings of Saturn sound as the flowers cross the firmament to unite two lovers. Running time 5 minutes.
